PARIS:THE POWER ,THE HORROR AND THE DISTORTIONS
The news is about the effect of social media on the bad events like
the Paris attacks having taken  place yesterday evening.In the news ,Dave Lee WHO  is North American technology reporter mentions about three impacts of social media.The first one is the power.As told in the news, social media has a power which makes people more sensitive and eager to help victims.For example , via facebook or twitter people indicate their willingness for help ,sadness and they express their being in solidarity with Parisian victims.The second one is the horror.When we read about saddening events like this , we are being more afraid of the next days.The third one is the lies.News may be distorted in social media and people may be misinformed about the events.However , ı think people see misinformation as a way of making themselves feel better and hopeful about the World and the future.I am agree with the reporter because without social media we couldn't have heard about the events happening in other countries.That's why we couldn't have shared their sadness and sarrows.Shortly , social media has an important impact on the events occuring in another country.
